European Traumatic Stress Research Database
Many different traumatic stress research projects are being conducted throughout Europe. At present there is no central database of these projects which makes it difficult to be aware of what is going on. In order to rectify this the ESTSS has developed this European Traumatic Stress Research Database that we hope will become an accurate source of information regarding traumatic stress research in Europe. It should also allow researchers to develop links with other people with similar interests and hopefully encourage the development of collaborative work in the future. Please register any projects you are conducting.

Aims of Research:
To establish a connection between the trauma conceived as an event that results in death's fear in the victim os witness and the psychodinamics elements involved in the physicals and psychologicals symptons. It seems that there is autist withdrawal followed by a stress state that results in a general weackness. This is a process directed by the long term memory as in the animals.
